It’s been a day of favorite actresses here on this blog lol! On Friday, another one of my favorite actresses, Julia Roberts who was in my all-time favorite movie, Pretty Woman, stopped by the clubhouse over at Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen! During “Clubhouse Playhouse,” Julia used her remarkable acting talent to tap into the gritty dynamics seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she takes on the role of southern belle Sutton Stracke while Andy Cohen steps into the part of Kyle Richards. Andy put on his Kyle-inspired wig and joined Juliia in front of the green screen for the instantly iconic “Name ‘Em” scene.
Academy Award winner Julia was in the hot seat when it came time to play Plead the Fifth. Julia said her least favorite Real Housewife of all time is Jen Shah from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She also revealed that the hardest drug she’s ever tried was mushrooms, adding that it was a nice experience. Lastly, she’s asked to rank some of her most iconic films. But, will she plead the fifth? She did and wouldn’t name her iconic favorite films she was in. Her options were Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, My Best Friends Wedding.
During the After Show, Julia spilled on her recent encounter with Cher during The Graham Norton Show alongside Tom Hanks and Timothée Chalamet. Amidst the After Show, Julia debunks a rumor about director Garry Marshall and reminisces about behind-the-scenes antics that had her laughing on-screen. Additionally, Julia opened up about turning down roles throughout her career and reflected on her time filming August: Osage County alongside the legendary Meryl Streep and the late, great director Mike Nichols.
