On today’s “Tamron Hall,” singer and member of “The Spice Girls,” Melanie Chisholm aka “Sporty Spice” joined the show to discuss her personal struggles at the height of the girl group’s fame and revealed if she and “The Spice Girls” will ever tour together again. Also, supermodel Iman gives advice to members of the Tam Fam and opens up about overcoming her own shyness to speak up and how her late husband, David Bowie, also dealt with being shy. Iman on overcoming shyness in order to speak up and how her husband, the late David Bowie dealt with shyness:
“Oh absolutely [I am shy] and I was going to say that to you. A lot of performers, my husband David Bowie was very shy but they go up [on stage] and when they get there, they become this other persona, right? And there is nothing wrong in being shy but do speak up. You can’t be heard if you don’t speak up.”
Iman on having a vault that houses all of her clothes:
“There is a vault. There is a company who actually houses all of these evening clothes because you know, one evening dress, as big as they are, you can’t fit it in your closet. You want the jeans and the sneakers in your closet! Yeah, they house all of that, photographed, so you have your virtual closet. So I go on and I say, I’d like this number, it arrives that evening, I wear it and then it goes back… It arrives and then the next day they pick it up and they dry clean it and put it back in the vault!”
