On Thursday, Feb 28, The Real welcomes back guest co-host Yvette Nicole Brown, and the hosts talk about how you know when it’s time to move on from a friendship. And while Adrienne uses a fake name for privacy when using a ride share or delivery service, she can’t help but use her real face!
Later, rappers Remy Ma and Papoose join the ladies for the first time anywhere with their Golden Child! They exclusively reveal her name to the ladies and Remy discusses her difficult and complicated labor.
And the rappers are challenged to a “Remy Mama” and “Papa Poose” freestyle-off! Who is the winner?
Remy Ma and Papoose Reveal The Golden Child’s Name!
Loni Love: Now, you refer to your baby as “The Golden Child.”
Remy Ma: Yes.
Loni: In references to the struggles of what you just said…
Remy Ma: Yes, yeah.
Loni: But can you reveal her name?
Remy Ma: Her real name is Reminisce Mackenzie, and Mackie, like our last name.
Loni: Oh!!!!
Jeannie Mai: That’s beautiful.
Adrienne Houghton: That is such a beautiful name.
Jeannie: Reminisce.
Remy Ma: Everybody always names their sons after their dads, I just feel like hmm… I think we need another Remy in the world.
Adrienne: Yes!
Remy Ma: So she’s Reminisce. But the strange thing – no one calls her Remy. We all call her Mac, short for her middle name, Mackenzie.
Loni: Really?
Papoose: I call her Snook.
Jeannie: Snook?
Loni: Lil’ Snook?
Remy Ma: He calls her everything.
Papoose: Snook. Snookums.
Remy Ma: Snookums. Snook the Crook. Snook the Cook.
Yvette Nicole Brown: Look at her! Look how she’s looking at you! Look how she’s looking at you!
Jeannie: So who do you think spoils her more?
Papoose: Well, my wife was always complaining that she didn’t want me to spoil the baby – turns out she’s the one spoiling her.
Adrienne: She said that! How do you spoil her?
Remy Ma: I’m literally – I cannot stop buying her stuff! Everything is so cute! The ribbons and the bows and the flowers and the pearls and the diamonds…
Loni: Remy… would you do it again?
Remy Ma: I actually would. He’s scared. After the whole labor thing, he was really scared.
Papoose: We went through a lot in the delivery, and I was like… I don’t want to do it. But now that she’s fine and ok, I’m ready to go again.
Remy Ma: I’m thinking we need a boy.
Jeannie: It was a lot. It was a lot.
Remy Ma: A little boy, a little boy wouldn’t be too bad.
