She discussed Barack thinking she watches too much low brow TV, there being some boring times in their house since the end of Barack’s presidency, decorating for Christmas and spending it in Hawaii, her first Christmas trip there to meet Barack’s family, taking Malia and Sasha to see Santa when they were younger, not being a big gift giving family, someone at a rally saying that Barack was “fine,” her new book “The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times,” her mom being an incredible force in her life, parenting tips and stories of raising her daughters, various “low points” as a parent, and Jimmy and Michelle exchange gifts for the holidays.
