I find it really cool how automotive companies come up with the colors of their vehicles each year. I visited a Ford plant not too long ago and met with the car designers. I really enjoyed this part of the tour. I learned that they study and watch runway shows as much as I do! They look for trendy colors and bring that back to their inspiration boards, test the colors, have meetings then take it to market. I find that fascinating! When I was allowed to pick out the color for my 2014 Ford Fiesta and design the graphics on the car, I chose the color Tuxedo Black because of it’s chicness. Then today, I get an email from fashion photographer Benjamin Kanarek with his latest work featured in Harper’s BAZAAR. The model was wearing a black tuxedo and white ruffle shirt. This reminded me of my car FiFi! Gotta love it! xoxo
