Actress and Singer Halle Bailey recently took some time out of her busy schedule from filming The Little Mermaid to sit down and take a few questions from her fans. In her interview where she looked adorable, she thanked all her followers and talked about her role and favorite songs from The Little Mermaid, her solo music and so much more! She said, “brand new world” and “under the sea” were her favorite songs from the movie.
She said it was so much fun to see all the brown babies watching their reactions to the new trailer from the movie. She felt overwhelmed and overjoyed and she was filled with gratitude. She then said she is super excited to release some new music too.
Bailey did say she was shocked and thought it was a prank when she got the news that she got the role as Ariel. Halle then talked about her challenges in the film and that was filming in harnesses and in the water. She stated that that was the best shape that she has ever been in though.
