My friend and makeup artist Yolanda Parrish takes us back to the roaring twenties with my makeup look for The Great Gatsby private reception and advance screening last night!
Harlem Renaissance images is what she looked at to inspire her for my look. Deep berry lipstick with a tinge of plum and also deep noir eyeliner to make the lips appear darker.
For the eyes she used a navy pearl eyeliner for the top lid, then used a navy eyeshadow with a hint of silver to make the eyes pop! She contoured the cheeks with darker foundation and a good ol matte M.A.C. blush called Raizin, it’s an oldy but goody!
If you plan on going to see the film The Great Gatsby this weekend, you should try this look! How fab!
