Yesterday afternoon, I got some really great news guys! In my inbox was an invitation to head back to Los Angeles with Disney, oh my! I was too excited and this time its going to be REALLY fun! Well, to be honest what could really be that bad anyway when you’re dealing with Disney, right? This time around, I get to walk the red carpet for a premiere of a movie, visit new tv sets on the Disney lot, interview a-list celebrities, check out a live taping of the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars, yes you read that correctly and so much more! Come inside and see what else I will be up to next month as I journey back to tinsel town! Woot….
First, we will get to walk the red carpet at the premier of The Good Dinosaur. Its so fun to be in the mix with the actors from the film, see all the cameras flickering and getting all dolled up for the carpet! Disney goes all out for their premiers too.
Oh by the way, we will be interviewing some of the cast/filmmakers from the movie too – those details are still being arranged, so stay tuned for all the deets on that.
Then, I will be attending a live taping of the 21st season of “Dancing with the Stars” (Monday nights at 8/7c) where I will watch the semi-finalist contestants perform live in the actual ballroom! This is going to be amazeballs!!! I think I have the perfect sparkly dress in mind for the occasion too, ha!
We get the opportunity to visit Walt Disney Studios Lot for a special preview screening of episodes of the hit ABC comedies “black-ish” (Wednesday nights at 9:30/8:30c) and “The Muppets” (Tuesday nights at 8:00/7:00c). While there, we will have the opportunity for a meet & greet with the multi-talented Tracee Ellis Ross, who portrays Johnson family mom & anesthesiologist Rainbow “Bow” Johnson on “black-ish”. We will also be able to see the Johnson home set in person, are you kidding me??? Wow, I love the home decor on that show, can’t wait to see it!
Later, we stop by Miss Piggy’s late-night talk show, “Up Late with Miss Piggy” (which Kermit the Frog executive produces, of course) where we will see an exclusive preview screening of an upcoming episode right there on the “Up Late” set. How cute, I bet Miss Piggy is a hoot! LOL!
We can take a selfie where famous guests like Elizabeth Banks and Christina Applegate were interviewed by Miss Piggy and participate in a Q&A with “The Muppets” Executive Producer Bill Barretta, who also performs Pepe the King Prawn, Rowlf the Dog, The Swedish Chef, Dr. Teeth and Bobo the Bear. Fun stuff!
Then we will attend a screening of “The Lion Guard: Return of The Roar,” which continues the epic storytelling of “The Lion King” and introduces Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, as he assumes his role as leader of the Lion Guard, a group of animals tasked with protecting the Pride Lands.
The screening to be followed by a Q&A panel with Executive Producer Ford Riley, Composer Christopher Willis, Singer/Songwriter Beau Black and Swahili Consultant Sarah Mirza.
This will be a fun trip, I can feel it and so excited and humbled that I was asked to attend! I can’t wait to start packing! What will I wear…Hmm? Check back for all my photos here plus updates via social media!
