A few months ago, my stylist Jonathan asked me how I felt about rocking shorter hair for the Spring. At first I was like, no I love my hair long(as I grabbed my long locks) and he then went on to say, “Tami, you have to try new things”. I have had my hair cut short twice in my life and I just do not like how I look with it. My bestie back home cut my hair in a short “Anita Baker” hairstyle. She later on said, she made a big mistake, it ages me! Then right after I had my son Pootie, I cut my hair in a bob, my husband hated it and so did I! So that’s why I just stick with what I know works best for me lol.
Yesterday afternoon I had a change of heart though when my daughter wanted to practice cutting hair on me, she said, “mom, let me cut your hair just up to your shoulder”. I agreed, so this is my new fresh look! I do have to learn to try something out even if its just for a lil bit…wink! I really like it and my hubby quickly texted me back and said I looked beautiful!
I think I have found a cute hairstyle guys and its so carefree! I surprised Jon yesterday too! We were headed to an event and when I stopped to pick him up, he opened the door and glanced and said, “you did it!” We both laughed. He said, “ok, if you’re going to rock a shorter hairdo, we have to beat this face!” We used some of my latest spring makeup from M.A.C cosmetics, more info inside…
I feel so good with this new look! Jon used the basic makeup application but added the eyeshadow, false eyelashes and pop of red lip. Loved my total look! xoxo

And we’re off!
