I am so proud of my daughter and she is coming along so well while she attends beauty school! I personally think that Dootie is better at makeup but she loves to style hair! I don’t know where she picked up the talent because I was a nail gal myself but her Godmom Heather (who is my bestie) is a hairstylist and Dootie has always been around the beauty industry. She told me that she learned how to apply makeup from watching youtube videos, go figure! I took Dootie with me to a beauty event last night and she said, “ok give me a few minutes to get ready!”
That turned into an hour and a half but her face was flawless when she came in my bedroom lol! She then did my face with the new eyeshadow palette by Ciate London Olivia Palermo called Smokey Suedes. I am bit more subdued when it comes to wearing colors on my face. I like more of a natural look, since I am a bit older and Dootie knows how to make my eyes and eyebrows stand out without doing too much lol. She likes to really shape and define the eyebrow first and then use a darker powder and eyeshadow to accent. I always love the outcome!
