I had been hearing about this new ride coming to Walt Disney World at Magic Kingdom for awhile now but I had no clue that I would actually get to experience it but that’s what happened today! I’m talking about the most anticipated ride from Disney called, Tron!
I’m here for the 16th Annual Disney Dreamers Academy. I have been coming to Disneyworld to cover this magnificent event for several years now and it’s always something different each year. When I glanced at the itinerary today, I noticed it said that I would get a chance to ride Tron, I started jumping for joy! We also were gifted with a “Lightening” pass, so we got to skip the line.
I didn’t know what to expect being that it was my first time but I also quickly found out that Tron doesn’t open till April 4th of this year. I felt very honored to be one of the first to try it out! The line moved very quickly and it’s all sort of unique things to see and do once you’re inside. It’s very high tech and it’s very stimulating to see.
The ride itself was extremely fun, fast and you are literally on the ride for about 1 minute and 30 seconds! The engineering, the visual and the design of the ride is state of the art and I give it a 50 out of a 10 lol! It was super fun and you are going to love it!

- Tron was first a movie that was released back in 1982. The iconic film went on to become a video game, comic book, an animated series and now a Disney theme park attraction!
- You will experience big drops, darkness and a few other surprises along the way! It’s the fastest coaster at any Disney theme park in the world!
- They have handicap seats available, so if you are in a wheelchair or anything else they got you covered and anyone can experience the ride comfortably.
- You will love the attraction photography, it’s very high tech
- The ride last about 1.30 seconds, its a high-speed adventure for sure!
