Netflix has officially announced that Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black has been renewed for a second season, which will be released in two parts.
Beauty in Black Part 1 spent four weeks in the Top 10, reaching #1 in 28 countries during its second week. Part 2 debuted with great excitement on March 6.
Tyler Perry, writer, director, and producer, shared his thoughts with TUDUM.com: “We left fans on the edge of their seats at the end of Season 1, and we’re excited to continue Kimmie’s journey as she steps into her power as the newest member of the Bellaire family. Kimmie embodies the spirit of never underestimating the underdog, and I can’t wait for fans to see her story unfold. If you thought Season 1 was intense, you’re not ready for Season 2.”

Part 1: Beauty in Black follows two women living very different lives. Kimmie, struggling after being kicked out by her mother, and Mallory, who runs a successful business, become entangled in each other’s worlds.
Part 2: The powerful, backstabbing family behind a beauty brand and an underground trafficking ring faces a reckoning. Kimmie, once an unassuming sex worker, becomes a force of vengeance on a mission to rescue her kidnapped sister.
