BET’s “106 & PARK” was honored to welcome the First Lady Michelle Obama to the 106 studio on Monday, November 18, 2013. This special edition of “106 & PARK” is dedicated to bringing an empowering message on the importance of education directly to the LIVEST audience on television. The First Lady will share her personal story of the pivotal role education played in her life. She will also talk about the President’s “North Star” Goal which aims to see America return to its position as the country with the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020. For this special episode, the 106 audience will be comprised of local New York City high school and college students. “106 & Park” co-hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté will both be on hand to interview the First Lady as well as former BET host, Jeff Johnson to moderate the discussion. This show will air Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at 6pm est.
