Yes you read that correctly and I experienced all of that the other day when I visited this cozy lil spot tucked away in Decatur, Ga! I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in but I was totally impressed with everything, actually it was a lot of things going on that evening that was pretty amazing! Like the valet guy who was a gem that walked me inside the restaurant with an umbrella in tow because it was raining out. I thought that added little touch was so nice, it definitely set the mood for my dining experience!
I’m going to get right to it, the food was incredible, I didn’t try anything that I didn’t like, everything was cooked to the right temperature and the appetizers, entrees and dessert was impeccable! I hardly ever get impressed with food that much these days but I thoroughly enjoyed ever single bite of each item! I highly recommend the pimento fritters, they were yummy! I wanted to order some to go but I totally forgot lol. The bread pudding was my all-time favorite as well, yes make sure to get that! I have a really bad sweet tooth and I’ve never had bread pudding made that way before, ten out of ten!
It’s such a nice and romantic place to take a date, because of all the twinkle lights and the romantic feel of it! We had a ball and we will be back! Very clean, full bar, lots of seating and valet parking! Oh by the way, when I was ready to go, the valet guy had already pulled my car around, too cute! For our meals we spent about $150 including one cocktail. See more photos inside and tell em’ I sent yah!
Pimento Fritters flash fried, tomatillo jam, so dang good!
Seared Scallop Romesco Pasta porcina dusted scallops, bucatini, fried butternut squash nest, tasty!
Duck Fat Sous Vide Pork Chop seared bone in pork chop, brussel sprouts, sweet potato mash, apple chutney, delicious!
Bread Pudding bourbon glaze, this was amazing!
