Hello everyone Happy Friday! An Accountability Partner is a person who coaches another person in terms of helping the other person keep a commitment. The term is a neologism and has gained relatively wide use since the 1990s. I met friend and Life Coach, Shekila Rolle a few years ago. She was my favorite bank teller in my area when one day we started chatting a bit more through the drive-thru window at the bank.
A few years later, she started to share with me that she was an Author of a self help book and that she has helped people with their issues and that she was a Life Coach. I always wanted to have a Life Coach and someone who help me navigate through life, my issues and keep me on task. Shekila told me that she would be my accountability partner and we have been doing that ever since. Weekly, we meet up for breakfast or lunch and go over weekly task and things that I plan on doing and what I need to work on.
She gives me homework assignments and I try my best to complete the things on the list. She also sends me morning text messages that motivate or inspire me and especially on those rough days when I don’t want to get out of bed. Have you guys ever thought of having an accountability partner? I highly recommend it, step inside for a few things you can do and have a great Friday everyone!
