Fashion Staples: Lil Black Dress

I was laughing so hard the other day because I was in a chat room where the publicist told us we could NOT wear any black at the upcoming red carpet for Disney Cinderella in Los Angeles. Why did he that because this started an uproar! Most women feel their best when they are wearing a lil black cocktail dress but its pretty safe to say and boring. If you’re not at your ideal weight it does hide some of your imperfections but I do know what he was trying to say lol. Just imagine a group of bloggers showing up at a red carpet premier dressed in mostly black, we would look like we’re headed to a funeral parlor when this is suppose to be all about “Cinderella”. I wouldn’t want to see that either, so we are banned from that color. Wow!

I do own quite a bit of black dresses that are frilly, plain, long and short but I gave away most of my mini-dresses, hey I even know when its time to turn in my hot mama card, tee hee! Still its the most sought after color that women shop for and I think we all need to have a cute lil black dress as a staple in our closet.
