As I prepare for New York Fashion Week, I’m trying to coordinate my looks for the days that I will be in town. It’s really hard sometimes because although I have given designers my measurements and requests well in advance, they still wait till the last minute to ship my outfits, which makes it frustrating extremely challenging for me! They don’t realize that I have to find shoes, accessories and makeup to match the looks. Sometimes the outfits arrive a day before, omg! I get so irritated around this time.
I’m also finding that a lot of designers and fashion brands that I’m working with this time around keeps sending me sketches and samples in black! I’ve requesting other colors but it must really be “in” this Fall because that’s all that they seem to be making lol. I will be right in line with the way New Yorkers dress but I hate wearing all black all the time. I have to have patterns and a bit color lol.
