It was scorching hot outdoors yesterday afternoon, so I called up my neighbor and we went to a neighborhood Mexican restaurant that we heard was really good. El Real Authentic Mexican Grill is a fun little spot and I always see people in and out of there, so we thought to give it a try. Once we arrived and got seated quickly, the first thing we ordered was two frozen daiquiris!
They definitely hit the spot because it was so hot outside lol. I don’t normally drink but this was really good and refreshing. El Real has a great bar area too where people gather weekly to participate in trivia night and they are about to start having Karaoke. From watching everyone come in, you can tell that there are lots of regulars, everyone seemed to know each other.
We ordered a few entrees and our waitress stated that the Santos Parrillada was really good. So I ordered that and it kinda reminded me of just eating lots of different meats with red sauce and cooked vegetables. It was very tasty and I couldn’t eat it all. The portion was huge! My friend ordered the chicken fajita which she enjoyed. If you are in the Lawrenceville area, you have to try it out and especially if you are looking for some entertainment. It’s such a warm and pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and very clean. You will have a great time for sure that you can go on a date night or with family.

Santos Parrillada, very flavorful full of spices, really good!
Beans and Rice, ofcourse this is tasty!
Chicken Enchilada(my friend’s entree) said it was really good!
