“Happy 18th Birthday” goes out to my first born child, Tyra who some of you guys know affectionately as Dootie! When she was first born, I looked at her and I was talking with her in baby talk. She was fully alert and I said, hey doo doo and Dootie came to my mind! She has been called “Dootie” ever since lol. She doesn’t really like it but it stuck in my head lol. I remember I was going to name her Hannah but when she was born she just didn’t look like a Hannah to me. Later on, I was watching tv in the hospital and a Victoria’s Secret commercial came on featuring Tyra Banks and that is how I came up with the name for her. Yes, she is named after a supermodel! She is a supermodel to me in my eyes and I think she is beautiful as well!
I always dreamed of having a little girl and God sent me such a wonderful daughter! We are extremely close, I love our relationship and Dootie has never given me any issues. Always been pretty serious about her business, witty, smart, good in school and knew early on what she wanted to do with her life. I love her so much and on September 19th she turned 18! I can’t believe she is a grown woman now but I am very proud of her! Her dad Derrick came in town from Alabama and bought her a car so that she could get back and forth to school. She was so happy to get those keys. All day we ran around getting the proper papers, insurance, plates etc for her new vehicle. I pray all her dreams come true and that she lives a fulfilled life! Happy Birthday Dootie, make mom & your two dads, proud! We LOVE you with all our hearts! xoxo
