To celebrate the release of Alice in Wonderland out on dvd on June 1st; Disney and the Fashion Institute held an Exhibition at the Los Angeles FIDM Museum and Gallery. It’s a fashion institute of Design & Merchandising. I saw the movie and it was excellent! The costumes were gorgeous!
Collen Atwood is an Academy Award winning designer who has won awards for Best Achievement in Costume Design for movie Geisha in 2005, and Best Costume Design for Chicago in 2002. She was in attendance and my pal, Nick Verreos who you might remember me interviewing(click here) on my blog awhile back and from the show Project Runway on Bravo.

They did a Pinktastic couture fashion show inspired by Alice in Wonderland, a musical performance by Kerli from the soundtrack .

There, you can see Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter garment, Mia Wasikowska’s Alice dresses, Helena Bonham Carter’s Red Queen Dress and more! Check out the pics from the event, it looked fab! Wish I could have made it out to see this up close and personal.
