Discovering Nashville: Music, Food, And Southern Charm

Howdy guys! I had an amazing time in Nashville, Tennessee this past weekend! Lexus wanted us to try out their 2024 Lexus TX and go on a girls road trip! I thought the idea of a quick little getaway  was super cool and my fellow blogger/gal pals Oh Nikka and Wendy were just as excited as I was! We knew early on this was going to be an amazing adventure! We packed up the truck and was off to discover what Nashville had to offer! I have two close friends that are from Nashville and they have always raved about how fun the city is and how much it has grown. I was pleasantly surprised from my visit I must say!

Nashville, Tennessee, has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1779. Originally settled by European settlers, it quickly became a hub for trade and commerce due to its location on the Cumberland River. Nashville played a significant role in the Civil War, serving as a major center for the Confederacy and later falling under Union control. In the 20th century, it emerged as a prominent center for music, earning the nickname “Music City” due to its vibrant country and gospel music scene. Today, Nashville is a thriving cultural and economic hub, known for its music, healthcare, and education sectors.

See all the fun we had on day one of our visit inside! We got to go shopping, dine at some yummy places, sightsee, see some historical areas and more! I had no idea that this city was so alive! Great place to raise a family or if you are an empty nester like me, this would be an ideal place to retire because of the weather and things to do! More inside…..
