Nshambi Brown and staff
All these cute lil girly salons are popping up all over Georgia! I wish I would have thought of opening a cute lil salon when I did nails back in the day lol. I met Nshambi Brown on twitter and people kept telling me that I had to check out this pinktastic salon located in Alpharetta, Georgia called Diamond Girlz Day Spa. What made me really want to check out this salon was because it wasn’t that far from my house either.
Boutique area
I asked my daughter if she wanted to go with me because I know she loves getting her nails done. We arrived 20 minutes later and I started smiling when I walked in the door. The color scheme was pink & brown and everything was so clean and girly looking. I was greeted by the friendliest staff and they showed me around. My daughter was so anxious to get her service started.
Glam Area
Shortly afterwards, the owner Nshambi walked in and we started chatting. She said she had only been open for one month. She is a wife and mom of three kids. She has a daughter and thats when she thought of opening the salon. She owned a daycare in NYC too, so she said she knew that when she moved to Atlanta, she wanted to stay in the focused around children.
Owner Nshambi in party room area
I loved all the little nooks and crannies that her place had to offer. She has a cute waiting area, where you could play Wii or just sit back and watch the fireplace and read magazines. She has a small boutique area, with the latest girlies fashions and accessories for sale, then there was the glam room, where you can change into a pink robe and get your face painted, then there was the shampoo area, and party area where if you were planning a birthday party, you can be in there with your friends and have cake and ice cream. The last room was the nail area where you could get a manicure and pedicure.

I loved everything about her salon and I’m not just saying that because it was pink. It was very well thought out and the way it was designed with lil kids in mind. I want to wish and her staff lots of success, you will do well! We talked about planning a huge grand opening sometime soon, so look out for that coming soon!
