I had the pleasure of checking out the most anticipated movie of the summer and ofcourse that was Deadpool and Wolverine! It was good, I mean REALLY good! I don’t suggest it for any kids under 10 years old because of all the profanity etc but yeah its something to see! I never laughed so much in my life and it kept my attention the whole entire time! Usually superhero movies goes down too many rabbit holes for me but I was able to keep up and follow along nicely! I don’t remember all the names of the writers in this new film but they all must be up and coming comedians because the jokes was landing okay! I never been in a theater where everyone was roaring like we were all at a comedy show!
Now let’s get into all the costumes, which is my favorite thing to talk about! They were really cool looking and costume designer Graham Churchyard is no stranger to creating magnificent superhero looks! She has worked on Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League and Spider-Man: Far From Home. She created such a frenzy online when people got a peek of Wolverines costume being that he would be wearing sleeves and no mask! She said but it was very accurate to the blue-and-yellow outfit from the comic book.
I personally LOVED Lady Deadpool’s costume, it was super sexy and we all know that character is played by Ryan Reynold’s wife Blake Lively! I guessed it correctly too lol! She only has a brief appearance in the film and never takes her mask off, but her presence was felt and I can’t wait to see more of her! I’m sure it will be some sort of spin-off! According to Marvel, she’s a “former mercenary and government test-subject” named Wanda Wilson. She was introduced in the comics in 2010. See Blake on the red carpet with her hubby here, she wore a sexy custom crimson Atelier Versace catsuit to support the movie on the red carpet on Thursday, July 25th.
