Tamara ‘Taj’ George and I was looking for something to do last night here in Nashville, when one of her friends stated that Spinderella was in town for a dj battle. We thought it would be fun to go check her out. Taj called up her girls and we headed out for a lil Girls Night Out. Both Taj and Spinderella know each other from NYC. We headed to Limelight nightclub where we all met for drinks and to party. I haven’t been out to a club in ages, I usually cover events and back home by 9pm…yikes! Taj is not a night person either, so we had planned on staying about an hour but that changed quickly lol.
After a few sips of red bull I was up and on the dance floor and learning how to do a new line dance lol. I’ve always loved to dance, ask my kids, they get so embarrassed lol. Spinderella hit the stage for the ol school, new school competition and she did a great job! We never danced so much in our lives listening to all the music from our era. It brought back so many memories and fun times. Spinderella kept the crowd on their feet and my hair was almost sweated out before I decided to sit down somewhere lol! It was fun catching up with this hip hop legend and shout out to Limelight for the V.I.P treatment! xoxo
