I am loving my new custom Piol black matte stretch dress and mainly because I got to customize it myself. The length, style and color is totally created by me! It was my first time ever creating a dress from beginning to end and it was pretty fun! Now I see what fashion designers kinda go through, geesh! Anyone can design a dress on the Piol dress website and it was pretty simple. I was headed off to a Little Black Dress Brunch over the weekend and this dress was perfect to wear and I couldn’t wait to wear it.
Lets first talk about how it all works…you start by finding the color palette of your choice based on your hair color, eye color, and skin tone, that will best bring out and complement your natural colors. Then you chose the silhouette that best suits your body shape. I’m very curvy with large bust. I like really flirty looks to compliment my shape. Ofcourse I picked out a flare styled design. After you have chosen the silhouette, you pick out the color and fabric. I picked black so that I can wear it many ways.
Piol has lots of fabric choices and different patterns to choose from or you can go with just a basic color. Once that’s done, it’s time to do all the final details like picking out the skirt length, sleeve length, neckline, etc. I have my measurements down to a science, so that part was easy. About 4 weeks later, my dress was at my front door! I was so nervous trying it on but to my surprise it fit perfectly, I was soo impressed! It’s a great site and you guys have to try them out!
