I’m in love with the complete first season of Cougar Town on DVD! I have my window open and my neighbors can hear me laugh out loud because this is too funny! I had the pleasure of reviewing this dvd and I can relate to soo much of this, being that I am in my 40’s as well,a mom and a cougar(my hubby is a wee bit younger than me ha)! I cant believe a guy actually wrote this… hilarious! It moves along from day to day life of a sexy real estate mom in her 40’s Jules Cobb, played by Courteney Cox.
She is a suburban mom, with a son named Travis and newly divorced. Her ex hubby still stops by and acts like a huge kid that has no newly divorced house rules! He rides though the neighborhood on a golf cart, with no cares in the world. Jules son is embarrassed of everything his parents do and I can understand that! I am banned from having lunch dates with my 10 year old son at school. The fashions are hott and I love the neighborhood they live in. I get a kick out of her 20 something year old girlfriend Laurie, who keeps her young by taking her out to wild parties and on drinking binges, (gotta keep one of those around). Also I love her married coupled friends and neighbor’s Andie & Ellie Torres. I think that Ellie really wants Laurie’s life, seeing that she has a newborn to take care of,yikes! The hottie neighbor Grayson knows he really wants Laurie but is playing hard to get, I love how there is sexual tension between them, come on Grayson give her a break!
I don’t know how Laurie dates guys in their 20’s, I could never do that but to each it’s on lol. If you haven’t watched this hit show Cougar Town on ABC you have to tune in to the new season, which premiers Sept 22,Wednesday at 9:30pm, I will be tuned! lol Shout out to Click Communications for sending over the DVD to review!
