Come For The Wine, Stay For The Experience 'Velvet Vino Tours'

Today started off pretty boring, I must admit! Then I got a text message from a friend asking me if I was available for a little fun in the sun! Friend and entrepreneur Shai Ellison owns Velvet Vino Tours and she hosts amazing private wine tours in Georgia! She asked me if I could hang out with her and I was totally excited to join! When I tell yah I had a blast today, that is an understatement! I am not a drinker at all but I still love the experience of trying new things here in Atlanta.

The group met up and we were then chauffeured off to North Georgia where we were exposed to a few wineries and a distillery. It was a private tour like no other! The scenery was breathtaking and with each winery, there was something unique and special about each one that came with rich history and more. When you take a peek inside and see my photos, you will then understand how stunning the wineries are! One thing about Georgia, we have some awesome places to do just about anything!

We indulged in a premiere wine tasting from two locations, we learned the history of the vineyards, the proper way to drink wine and so much more! I learned the difference between a white wine, red wine or sweet wine. There’s a variety of wines to choose from. We then headed to a distillery where we got to try different bourbons and gins. We also met the owners and staff which were extremely knowledgeable and nice. My group loved the different flavors of the wines, bourbons and raved about how good everything taste. If you want to surprise your significant other, why not take them on a wine tour, its so romantic! You can have a group tour or a couples tour! It’s all up to you and what you want to experience.
