Cocktails & Conversation With Own Tv Network’s Family Or Fiancé Relationship Expert Tracy McMillian

What a blast I had yesterday afternoon when I got to have cocktails and conversation with Best Selling Author, Tv Personality and Relationships Expert Tracy McMillian! She is in her second season on Own Tv Network with a relationship show called, Family or Fiancé! I got a chance to watch the first few episodes and I was blown away! I had NO idea that so much drama occurred when families are at odds with their loved ones choices of mates, my gosh! I’m glad I have never had to experience that but Tracy was so full of gems when I got a chance to chat with her. We talked about drama filled relationships, my own experiences and so much more! I jotted down so many things that she said that I ran out of space in my journal lol.

We are about the same age too and she shared with me that she became a relationship expert because she has been divorced three times and each relationship taught her so much. Later on, a lot of her friends started reaching out to her for advice. It was such a lovely afternoon of great information and I have more pictures and the trailer inside! I do recommend that you check this show out this Saturday airing at 9/8c on Own Tv Network, where you will get to see so much. I could relate to a few of the couples too lol. Have a great day and thanks Tracy for your transparency!

Tracy shared with us that when you are dating, instead of going on a dinner date, try going out for coffee for about 20 minutes. She said that’s all you need to determine if you like that person, if you have chemistry and if you would like to go out again on a date and more.

Next date, it can be a little longer but do an activity next time. Something where you’re physically moving like hiking, skating or some type of activity. It takes the focus off of you guys and doesn’t make things so awkward.

About “Family or Fiancé”
“Family or Fiancé” follows the dynamic between eight engaged couples who bring their disapproving families together for three days under one roof, some for the first time. The clock is ticking as the couples must decide if they’re going to tie the knot or if the nuptial hopes end there. It’s a no-holds-barred look at what it’s really like when the people closest to you have major issues with the one you want to marry. At the heart of the series is relationship expert Tracy McMillan, who serves as the voice of reason as the couples confront their family’s concerns. She works with the newlyweds-to-be on ways to strengthen their bond, unpack their differences and reveal their true selves to their families – for better or worse.

At the end of the final day, families are given the chance to speak now or forever hold their peace, leaving each couple to decide once and for all if they’re truly ready to say, “I do.”“Family or Fiancé” is executive produced by Jonathan Murray, Julie Pizzi, Gil Goldschein, Jonathan Singer, Erica Ross and co-executive produced by Erika Bryant of Bunim/Murray Productions in partnership with OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Family or Fiancé kicks off on Saturday, January 11, at 9/8c. Visit http://www.oprah.com/app/family-or-fiance.html
