Good morning bookies, I hope that you are having a great day so far! I was waiting for the photographer from Jamaica to send over the images and I know that I promised you a recap from my trip! So without further adieu, Im ready to start posting lol. My trip was short but sweet but oh, so much FUN! I was kicking and screaming when I headed back to the airport, I didnt want to go home!
The first day we pretty much just relaxed and hung out by the beach and sipped on cocktails. I made some new media friends and we enjoyed the water, perfect weather and relaxed. I sometimes think these mini getaways are a blessing in disguise because I work so hard and then I get great opportunities like this. The second day was all about adventure! We headed to Chukka Tours in Montego Bay, where we did horseback riding in the ocean, rum tastings, zip lining, dining, shopping, touring and so much more! Those pics are coming soon too. I’ve done the ride-n-swim with the horses before, so I was pretty familiar with it. Each time though, I always think I’m going to fall right in the ocean but the horses know what they are doing.
My horse this time around was named Big Ma! What was the experience like? Imagine riding a horse but in warm water waist-high but having the anxiety of knowing that if you fall off, your hair will be ruined! So you hold on for dear life!!!! I have NEVER witnessed anyone actually falling off the horse in the water lol. Its really fun though! Check out all the pictures and if you ever visit Jamaica you have to try this! xoxo
