I had NO idea that Celine Dion and I were the same age lol! The 56-year-old award-winning singer made her red carpet return at the premiere of the new documentary I Am: Celine Dion on Monday night (June 17) at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
Celine was joined on the carpet by her 23-year-old son Rene-Charles Angelil, as well as documentary director Irene Taylor Brodsky and Amazon Studios exec Jennifer Salke.
Aside from Celine’s surprise appearance at the Grammys earlier this year, where she skipped the red carpet, this is her first major public appearance since early 2020. Other notables that attended were Gayle King, Laverne Cox and more!
In the documentary, it gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.
For the carpet, Celine wore a lovely cream two-piece blouse and maxi skirt, very cute! She accessorized with a rhinestone belt and jewels. See more photos inside…
