Actress Sanaa Lathan talked to Guest Host RuPaul about her father – Director Stan Lathan, working on “Succession” and building her character, being very hard for her to watch her own work, new movie The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat, going to a Sparks game and causing a frenzy because of her role in Love & Basketball, and she gives her advice for actors coming into the business.
Sanaa Lathan has had a diverse and successful career in film and television. Some of her top movies include:
- “Love & Basketball” (2000) – This romantic sports drama is often considered one of her standout performances, where she plays a young woman who aspires to be a professional basketball player while navigating her relationship with a childhood friend.
