Rachel Zegler, the star of “Disney’s Snow White,” delighted audiences earlier today with a special performance of Waiting on a Wish, the first single from the film’s original soundtrack, at a European event at the Alcázar of Segovia Castle in Spain. Joining Zegler at the event was the film’s director Marc Webb, press, content creators, children and their families from Spanish CSR Organizations (Fundación Aladdina, Fundación sin daño, Juegaterapia, Pequeño Deseo and CEMU), and families from Segovia.
The Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval castle located in the city of Segovia, in Castile and León, Spain, was the inspiration for the castle that appears in the 1937 animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
“Disney’s Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb, written by Erin Cressida Wilson, and produced by Marc Platt, p.g.a., and Jared LeBoff, p.g.a., with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer, and features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including Waiting on a Wish, the recently released first single from the film’s original soundtrack. Waiting on a Wish is available now digitally on Amazon, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify.
For the red carpet, she absolutely dazzled in a white, embellished gown. And speaking of gowns what’s a Disney princess without a show-stopping dress? Rachel turned heads in a custom Elie Saab Haute Couture creation, drawn from the Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection. The white tulle and organza masterpiece was adorned with sequins, crystals, and 3,000 delicate flower petals, exuding pure elegance. The Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval gem, also inspired the castle in Disney’s 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. So, seeing Rachel grace this historic venue in a gown worthy of royalty felt like a true fairytale moment come full circle. See more images inside….
