At 58, Halle shared that the late “Purple Rain” superstar once asked her out on a date—how incredible is that? She also revealed that Michael Jackson had asked Babyface to set him up with her, which added a humorous twist to the conversation!

Prince, who passed away in 2016 at 57, held a special place in Halle’s heart. In 2011, he presented her with an award at the NAACP Image Awards, where she expressed her admiration: “As if this couldn’t be more amazing, to have it handed to you by Prince. I’ve loved him my whole life, so thank you, Prince, for honoring me tonight.” Halle has often credited him for shaping her musical journey, recalling that he was her first concert experience and a significant source of inspiration during her formative years.
