Today on “SHERRI,” Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host, comedian, actor and best-selling author SHERRI SHEPHERD spoke to her fellow cast members from “The Sex Lives of College Girls.” They discussed everything about the highly-anticipated second season of the series, plus Pauline Chalamet admitted how much she likes being nude on set! Then, Renee Rapp explained why she started acting and Amrit Kaur told the story about Sherri playing a big role when taking a chance in stand-up comedy. See what the ladies had to say inside…
Sherri: “Are you comfortable with the nudity?”
Pauline Chalamet: “Oh, 100 percent. I’m not shy about it. No, we are also so lucky I think to work on a set … that evolved maybe after the 2018 “Me Too/Times Up” evolution. The set we are on is incredibly safe. And it’s a comedy. So, a safe set plus comedy makes it so when you’re naked – it’s kinda fun. It’s just a fun time. That’s how I feel about it. Maybe if it was something a little more dramatic. A different story. Maybe I’d feel differently … but it’s great.”
Sherri: “Renee, you were so good, an amazing actress. But I did not know singing was your passion?”
Renee Rapp: “I started acting so I could get grown men at labels to finally pay attention to me. Because they wouldn’t when I was a kid. So, I was like I’ll make sure you do. So then I started acting.”
Sherri: You’ve been doing stand-up comedy. Which I love. How has life been on the road doing stand-up?
Amrit Kaur: “. . . Sherri was the first person who heard my stand-up EVER. And in-between takes, I’d be like, ‘Sherri, can you come to my trailer? … Can I come to yours? Just tell me what you think about it.’. So we did it again and again. Every time you were on set … “
