Wendy’s came out with a new promotion called, Pick 2. This meal features half size portions of their fresh salads – Apple Pecan Chicken, Baja, Spicy chicken Caesar, and BLT Cobb that can be paired with a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, small Frosty, small Beverage, Dasani Water, Sour Cream & Chives Baked Potato, or small Chili, for the suggested retail price of $4.99.

As part of their promotion, I and few other fellow bloggers were invited out to try the new menu. I was greeted by a nice manager named, Vince at the Howell Mill Rd location. He talked to me about the new menu and then took our orders. I ordered the BLT Cobb Salad with a Jr.Bacon Cheeseburger and Aimee ordered the Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad with baked potato and sweet tea. We both sat down and chatted and before we knew it, we were too full to finish. Vince also showed me the new high tech Coca Cola Freestyle machine. This machine is equipped with 160 brands of soft drinks,wow! I was very impressed and the most popular flavor is Orange Coke, I didn’t know they made a drink like that lol.

I would like to thank the staff over at Wendy’s for allowing us to try the new Pick 2 menu today! We had a Pinkalicious time! Going into Wendy’s today brought back memories of when I was a teenager and worked as a hostess, those were fun times in the early 80’s.
