Blair Underwood visited the set of Good Morning America to talk about his latest film Longlegs. The “L.A. Law” alum opened up about starring in his first horror movie and his family’s reaction to the film’s dark themes. The 59-year-old said he stayed prayed up because he didn’t want to leave the set with that spirit on him.
Blair Underwood began his acting career in high school and later studied at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. He is best known for his role as attorney Jonathan Rollins on the NBC legal drama “L.A. Law,” which he played from 1987 to 1994. Underwood has played a wide range of characters in television, film, and theater, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
He made his directorial debut with the film “The Bridge to Nowhere” in 2009. Blair Underwood has received several awards and nominations, including Golden Globe nominations, NAACP Image Awards, and a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album. He has co-authored several books, including “Before I Got Here: The Wondrous Things We Hear When We Listen to the Souls of Our Children.”
