I throughly enjoyed looking at the latest Fall 2015 collection from designer Stella Jean! She mixes prints and fabrics like no other and this fall line is very inspiring for me but I am almost afraid to try recreating any of these looks because the fabrics are a bit heavy and Lord knows I don’t need to add any extra pounds to my body type already lol. I fell in love with the beautifully hand-crafted bags and clutch purses too which were made in Haiti. The coats she designed were my all time favorite and appear to be pretty chic looking that you can wear with just about anything and I LOVE how long they were. So has Stella started a new trend for fall with these extremely dramatic and well tailored long coats? Time will tell! Check out more of my favs from the collection inside!
“I am genuinely interested in multicultural crossovers,” said Stella Jean backstage before yesterday’s show. “I try to keep a fresh perspective, avoiding the traps of the tourist’s eye or, even worse, the perils of an imperialist gaze. It’s not about one culture prevailing on the other. Rather, I am an advocate for the seamless blending of the apparently disparate.” ~Stella Jean
I want this coat, wish list! Faints!!!
