When I saw these images of Betsey Johnson’s Spring 2015 Collection go up on a fashion site yesterday, I had a complete meltdown! Here is the backstory… For YEARS I have been trying to go to a Betsey Johnson fashion show, I was always declined because it’s always to capacity. Its the it show to attend and everyone wants in! Well, how about this season I was finally invited and I could not make it because I was already gone! I cried like a baby because I have always wanted to see my favorite designers runway show! Then the gag is that Atlanta’s own Cynthia Bailey was in the show, one of my favorite housewives, I was too upset! Argh!!!! With New York Fashion Week, you have to register early and you still have NO idea who is going to show. As media, you have to fill out your credentials months in advance.
The list of designers comes weeks later. By then you have booked your travel and it ain’t no rescheduling unless you have the money to change your flight, hotel etc! Its pretty pricey too and I just can not stay a full week in NYC plus I have the kids. I was sick that I couldn’t make the show but it looked adorable as ever and here are pics of Betsey’s show with a wedding them called, “Prenup”. Full of fancy and twirl-worthy full skirts and dresses, fun colors, exciting accessories. This collection put a big ol grin on my face! Cynthia looked fabulous in that silver frock too, I LOVE it all! More best looks inside, I’m going to go cry again, sigh! LOL!
Bonus…Betsey Johnson will also be a contestant on the new season of Dancing With The Stars starting September 15th, yeah!!!!
