Baseball Player Delino Deshields Hit With 90 MPH Fastball! He's Doing Ok Now!

I’m so happy to report that my girlfriend Tisha Deshield son Delino is doing just fine! As some of you may be aware of or have seen on the news that went viral, her son who plays for a minor league baseball team was hit in the face with a 90 mph fastball! As a mom, I would have passed out and been on the next thing smoking! Who would have ever wanted to get that phone call, let alone watch it play out on tv, lawd!

I know Tisha and she is always watching her kids games on tv or she is there in person. She has a house full of professional athletes too and supports all of them as a mom should. Her daughter also plays for North Carolina on the women’s basketball team in college and I remember when she broke something last year, geesh! I found out the bad news today and franticly texted her while at an event when I heard. She told me that he was doing just fine now. In a recent interview, Delino laughed about the whole situation. When he finally saw his face disfigured he said wow but said he was ready to go back to playing. The doctors told him no, not a good idea. He suffered a broken cheek. Wow, what a champ!
