Over the weekend I got a chance to experience something so fab! Sole Plus,Converse and Scion came together for a great cause. Sole Plus is a non profit organization created by Brian Miller. I was invited out to check out the cool art exhibit featuring Atlanta’s tastemakers and national artists .
The event was held at the Ambient Plus Studio. We walked in saw all sorts of cool graffiti art work, sneaker exhibits,live body art,indoor art walk and more. Ciroc was the official liquor sponsor that poured all night, plus hip hop music booming from the speakers. OMG Booth was taking fun pics of people while others checked out what artists created. I loved the pink converse tennis shoes hanging from the makeshift wires and other sneakers placed throughout the art gallery.
Drummer Alien Warr shut down the party with his mad drum skills! He brought back soo many memories of when I did pr for Sonny Emory’s drum clinics at Georgia Tech. I never heard of Alien but he was a beast and did many tricks on the drums! I got a chance to chat with him after his set and he was a lot of fun to talk to. He is a self taught drummer and has played on many tours with bands and singers. I would like to thank The Garner Circle for the invite and please check out the pics!
