I was reading this online when I just had to let my readers now about this. American Girl has teamed up with National Wildlife Federation to inspire girls to get outside and explore nature! I think this is such a great idea because so many kids don’t or won’t got outside to play. I remember leaving my home as a youngster with friends and not returning till it was dusk dark. I know it was a different time though lol. Kids do not have imaginations like we did and they don’t explore anymore. I think that kids need to learn what is out there and create better social skills.
This is a great idea and I’m glad that I saw this on American Girl’s website, this is too Pinktastic! Their goal is to inspire girls across the country to connect with nature. The latest doll Lanie loves the outdoors. They also have some cool new American Girl tees for girls and her doll with cute sayings on them like, “Be Kind to Nature” and so many more fun shirts!
Also check this out! American Girl is also having a Lanie’s backyard photo contest!
