I sometimes head to Mall of Georgia just to sit outside by the water park and read or to do some last minute shopping for my kids. I saw a new restaurant being built a few months ago. The building is complete and It’s open for business now, it’s called, Alino Pizzeria located right outside of the mall near the back entrance. The other day I was happy to stop in and try it out.
I have never heard of the pizza chain before but after doing some research, this is their third location that has opened. It’s an authentic neapolitan style pizza and when I say it’s fresh, wow! Me and my friend ordered a Sorrento pizza which is Pepperoni, San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, fresh garlic. I also ordered the Caprese salad which was fresh ripe tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil.
Everything was really tasty and the pizza came out in minutes! The size of the pizza is massive and the slices are pretty big. The restaurant itself is gigantic, where you can have parties, family gatherings and more! If you are in the Mall of Georgia area, stop in for lunch or dinner. It’s a very friend atmosphere, spotless with LOTS to choose from on the menu. You sit down at benches with extremely long tables and order family style. It kinda reminded me of eating lunch at my high school cafeteria lol. I didn’t get a chance to try the gelato because I was so full but someone sitting next to me said it was pretty good. They have a variety of different style pizzas, salads, desserts and even beer and wine. Great place to try, it’s something different and new.
