A Sergio Hudson experience in S.C.

Yesterday Lisa told me she was going to South Carolina to support her fashion designer Sergio Hudson. He makes alot of her beautiful dresses and gowns you see her in on the red carpet. He is a very talented designer and I had the pleasure of meeting him a few months back. I told her I would go to see his show as well. We all hopped into the bat mobile and was off.

I have been to Columbia,South Carolina a few times because my hubby’s family lives there. It’s not that far from Atlanta either. So we finally got there right before the show started. It was held at a Chrysler dealership and drew a large crowd. They sat all of us in the V.I.P. section and everyone was waiting patiently while chatting with each other. I was a bit nervous about being in the front row because of my facial expressions, yes they can be a bit much!

So I go around and get snapshots of the models beforehand, and they were backstage all ready to go in their first outfits. The show started shortly afterwards and I rushed to my seat. I loved viewing Sergio’s collection it was very springy, vibrant and full of color. The dresses were very feminine and dainty just like I like them. I think he was pleased with his collection and the crowd really liked his designs. I’m glad that I was able to go and support this young man, he has a great future in store for him.
