So I got up around 7:00 am and headed down the road to Mall of Ga(It’s the biggest mall in the state of Ga). One thing I noticed right away was the traffic,gasp there wasn’t any! I was taken back for a moment because usually when I turn the corner on route 20 the day after thanksgiving, the cars are backed up! Not this year, so that was a sign that the economy is still not that great.
I got to the mall and pulled right into a parking spot too,I was so excited! I did see a news helicopter hovering over the mall trying probably to tell viewers how crowded it was. The parking lot was at about 80% full. I never camp out at the mall/stores for deals, if I see something I get it and if I don’t who cares. I wasn’t on the hunt for a newest flat screen or the latest gadget, my kids are older now so no more toys r us stampedes for elmo…sigh lol.
The Victoria’s Secret holiday bag
So I go into the mall and just walk around and browse. I see a Nintendo station set up with people doing dances from the video game Wii. It was funny to watch people dance lol. I saw the latest Nintendo Ds xl and it comes in Pink! Later the first store I approached was Victoria’s Secret. It was mobbed and backed up to the entrance. They had all their perfumes on sale, so I wanted to get the Bombshell fragrance since that is my favorite! It was normally $45 on sale for $25. It was also, all about the Victoria’s Secret holiday shopping bag. If you spent $60 you got the tote. I didn’t need another bag, so I opted out for just my perfume.

I also stopped in New York & Co and got some jogging pants. The whole store was 50% off! My black jogging pants were $15 and it was also an extra 10% off before noon. I thought that was a great deal! I usually get their black velvet jogging suit set but I couldn’t find my size and the line was long as heck in there. I stopped in Bed & Body works for their wall deodorizers that were $5 and then to my fav store Nordstrom. I work with them time to time on their events and they told me their Holiday Fragrance Festival will be next weekend Dec.4th from 8-10am. It’s a private party where they will have bites, bottle engraver, fragrance vendors, and more! This is at the (Mall of Ga Nordstrom only).
So I had a great time out people watching, looking at the holiday items and enjoying black friday. I did also make a huge purchase but rather not say at this time. Just in case my hubby doesn’t know what to get me(again), I have stashed it myself so he can’t say it was sold out lol(he hates shopping). Till next time my friends, happy shopping!
