I’m so proud to be working with Beauty and Books! I will be kicking off this campaign by speaking at the Atlanta Mission Nov. 18th about my story of being homeless. Please if you can please donate to this wonderful cause!
The Beauty & Books program is a non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated serving women, men and children to women and children who have been displaced out of their homes and currently live in shelters. Without access to many of the basic necessities of life, Beauty and Books tries to provide items that these individuals need. These items include a luxury toiletry bag for the women and a luxury shaving kit for the men. It is important that children have access to education at all times, so we provide new and/or gently used books to the shelters for the children.
We also support Cancer, Heart Disease, and HIV/AIDs organizations by providing luxury toiletry bags for the women and luxury shaving kits for the men and books for the kids.
