Dave Chappelle will host the first Saturday Night Live episode of 2025, airing on January 18, with GloRilla making her SNL debut as the musical guest.
According to an NBC announcement, The Blast reports, “GloRilla will make her SNL debut as the episode’s Musical Guest.” The multi-platinum-selling rapper, who is also a Grammy nominee, received two nominations for her hit single “Yeah Glo!”
NBC also shared that Timothée Chalamet will host the following week, also performing as the musical guest.
“Live from New York, Saturday Night Live kicks off 2025 with two superstar Hosts and Musical Guests you won’t want to miss,” the network said. “As the show celebrates its historic 50 years on NBC, Season 50 has already featured 10 exceptional Hosts, and it’s bringing back two familiar faces to start the second half of this season.”
Chappelle, the Emmy-winning stand-up comedian and actor, is set to return to Studio 8H on January 18 for his fourth time hosting the show. He has previously hosted post-election episodes, most recently in November 2022.
