Red Carpet Rundown: Lee Daniel’s The Deliverance New York Screening

THE DELIVERANCE has arrived in New York. On Thursday, August 1, Bevy Smith hosted a dinner in honor of the film at Le Bernardin. Director Lee Daniels, Andra Day, Mo’Nique, Demi Singleton and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor were in attendance. Notable guests included Sunny Hostin (Author, TV Host), Tamron Hall (Talk Show Host), Don Lemon (Media Personality), Kehinde Wiley (Artist), Jerrod Carmichael (Poor Things), Kara Young (I’m a Virgo), Nick Cannon ( TV Host), Jordan Cooper (Creator of Ms. Pat Show), Ari Melber (MSNBC Anchor).

The following evening, Friday, August 2, Lee Daniels and the cast introduced an intimate screening at The Whitby Hotel, followed by a Q&A with Lee Daniels moderated by Sunny Hostin (Author, TV Host).
