Tamron Hall’s 7th “Up & Coming Designer” series wrapped up last week with a bang! The fashion hopefuls featured during the week got a big surprise from one of the biggest gatekeepers in fashion! I loved so many of them and one that really stood out the most was the fashion designer from Colombia, South Carolina! I used to frequent that city a lot because my ex husband family is from there.
Later, the founder of LoveShackFancy, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, stopped by to talk about her clothing line. She took the viewers down memory lane to her days as a Cosmopolitan fashion editor and the opportunity of a lifetime that changed her life. Rebecca gave a very inspirational quote during her segment saying, “Never follow the rules, chase your wildest dreams, and above all else, believe in yourself!”
I love her fashion line, it does remind me of Betsey Johnson just a bit, one of my favorite all-time brands! But Rebecca’s clothing line is fun, bright, girly and full of ruffles, tulle, satin and lace! Mostyl all her designs are full of my favorite color pink too!
