Congrats goes out to Niecy Nash! She won her very first Emmy last night in full glam! Niecy won Best Supporting Actress in a limited series for her role as Glenda Cleveland in Dahmer -Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story that streamed on Netflix last year! I saw her performance in the film and she was pretty good as the nosey neighbor lol.
When she gave her acceptance speech she said, “You know who I wanna thank? Me for believing in me.”
Niecy, 53 said she celebrated her big win by going skinny-dipping in a pool with her wife Jessica Betts. She was all smiles as she floated in pool with her love that she uploaded onto her instagram reel. For the red carpet at the Emmys, Niecy was styled in a custom black velvet and satin off-the-shoulder mermaid gown that insinuated her hour glass figure! I think this look was my all-time favorite, she looked amazing! The hairdo, the makeup and the dress was everything!
Her bestie of 30 years, talk show host Sherri Shepherd congratulated her best friend on her Emmy win on her show today. She said, her speech brought the house down but will be hard to follow for someone like her lol.
