Eggnog, historically also known as a milk punch or an egg milk punch when alcoholic beverages are added, is a rich, chilled, sweetened, dairy-based beverage. It is traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, egg yolks, and whipped egg whites.
To make an eggnog cocktail, combine eggnog with your choice of spirits like rum or bourbon. Add a pinch of nutmeg for flavor and optimally garnish with a cinnamon stick or candy cane. Serve over ice if desired, Cheer! See the full recipe inside….
